1.1. Cancellation Period: Many bookings made through our platform come with a cancellation period. This period typically ranges from 5-7 days before the scheduled move-in date. During this period, you can cancel your booking, and we will initiate partial or full refunds. Specific cancellation terms may vary depending on the property and booking details.
1.2. Cancellation Fees: If you cancel your booking outside of the free cancellation period or if the property owner specifies non-refundable conditions, you may be subject to cancellation fees. These fees will be clearly indicated before you confirm your booking and will vary based on the property owner's policies.
1.3. Cancellation Process: To cancel a booking, please write to us at support@houseboon.com.
2.1. Refund Eligibility: Refunds will be issued based on the cancellation policy specified for the property you've booked. If you are eligible for a refund, it will generally be processed within 3 business days after your cancellation request is approved.
2.2. Payment Method: Refunds will be credited to the same payment method you used for booking, unless otherwise stated. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.
2.3. Partial Refunds: In certain cases, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on the cancellation policy and the specific circumstances of your booking. Partial refunds will be calculated according to the property owner's terms.
3.1. Diverse Property Owners: HouseBoon collaborates with various property owners, each with their own cancellation and refund policies. It is essential to review the terms and conditions specified by the property owner before confirming your booking.

5.1 From the customer's side, cancellations: After the booking acceptance from the customer and the property owner's side, if in any case the customer cancels the booking due to any circumstances, the booking amount will be subject to the owner's consent; however, HouseBoon will act as an advocate from the customer's side and negotiate with the owner to refund the full or partial amount. In this case, HouseBoon's service charges are not refundable.
5.2 From customer side cancellations: After the booking acceptance from the customer and the property owner sides, if in any case the property owner cancels the booking due to any circumstances, HouseBoon will be an advocate for the customer side and will return the booking amount to the customer within 3 business days. In this case, HouseBoon will refund 50% of its service charges.
HouseBoon reserves the right to modify or update this refund and cancellation policy as necessary. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. We encourage you to periodically review this policy to stay informed about our refund and cancellation practices.
